Anyone know of a good, free, FLAC convertor for either mac osx or windows?

I have a bunch of CDs I want to convert.

I did find one but, infuriatingly, it would only display an albums tracks in alphabetical order.

Thanks.

if you go to the FLAC site on SoundForge (http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html) on the Downloads page you can get the FLAC encoder/decoder and any of an assortment of 'Front-Ends' for Windows or Mac.

This will cover your conversions to/from FLAC, now, do you have a Ripper to get the audio from the CD into the PC?

I use XLD on my mac.

http://x-lossless-decoder.en.softonic.com/mac

It is free and it is easy to use. Try it you'll love it.

It also converts your lossless files to apple lossless files. If you are using itunes, ipods and ios devices, this is probably the best solution for you.
