i got the e2c, seems like i have the input jack problem, where if it moves around at the jack sound cuts off and gets distorted

i'd like to know if anyone has been able to fix this by adding a new wire and more important how technical it is/easiest way to do it/how to/what it looks like when done and during dismantleling

I'm on my 2nd pair of Shures and this same problem has happened again. The first time I sent em back to Shure and they gave me a free replacement. You should contact them and see about getting replacements.

same here, except i returned it to my retailer instead of Shure
the problem seem to come from the use of the headphone spoon

i have the problem that they were imported from the states, so unfortunately shure canada won't take them.
