Just got some hifiman 400i's with a hifiman ef2a amp. Upgrading from 595s and I've never used amp before, always power them out my receiver. I plugged the amp into my usb but for some reason the headphones sound really bad when coming out of the amp. Even on full volume on my PC and full volume on my amp the headphones are not loud enough. There is also a lot of distorition. The headphones sound 100x louder and better when plugged into my receiver. Do I have a dud or am I just an idiot and doing something wrong?

It ended up I was an idiot and didn't have the tubes plugged into my amp ><.  Didn't see them in the bottom of the package ha...
