Just to throw a wrench into the works, I recently put together a nice little setup for my PC at work: PC USB > Total Bithead > HD595 or HD280Pro (using the pros only when the folks nearby get too loud .

I love this setup, and the total cost was $325 after a bit of shopping around.

P.S. I also picked up a set of refurb HD580s for home. They are awesome as well. Not quite a comfortable to me as the HD595s (but much more comfortable than the HD280s). If you get the HD580s, don't forget to upgrade to an HD650 cable and HD600 grilles for a total of $32 shipped direct from Sennheiser.

I can feel this hidden world of audiophilia taking over my thoughts!! I recently ordered pmx100's, but I think I want to return them. It's between those and the SR60's. The main reason I want to return them is to at least get a listen to a pair of Grado cans, even if it's only entry level ones..I've seen debate about which is better, and since it's so debated, I doubt I would be wrong in choosing either.
