First Impression Onkyo NDS 1000 Japan Version as Digital Media Trasport for I Family

This evening my IDock Onkyo NDS 1000 Japan Version is coming .
 
This is alternate for use my I family like IPOD and IPOD Video , Iphone and IPAD  as source Digital Transporter

Cable : Coax : Home Grown 75 Ohm
                      Nanotec Neuron 99
 
            RCA : Home Grown Silver Lace 
 
My personal impression :
 
High : with Onkyo NDS 1000 more extended and open and clean
          I can hear cymbals more volume and full body compare with Fostex Hp 1
 
Mid : sweet , clean and very clear.
        I can hear the voice better and the piano sound very clean and detail
 
Bass : very tight , detail , clean and fast bass response.
 
Soundstage : very wide with very good depth also.
 
Separation : very good , i can hear the instrument placement on the right place
 
Coculcion : one of The Best IDock Onkyo NDS 1000 i ever heard after Onkyo  NDS 1 and Wadia 170
 
Note : with standard Switching adaptor sound already goo
 
          i use Energier Power Bank XP 8000, sound more clean and black bacground
 
          i want try with external PSU DIY impression will be update soon

i am just trying my Imac 27 " as my Source and with USB connect to Onkyo NDS 1000 , with Coaxial Cable to Eximus Dp 1
 
Result : Sound Quality very good , it is better than from  my Ipods family , more body
 
Power : use Energizer Power Bank XPO 8000 , 5 V 1000 mA
 
external Power Supply on Progress , i must change from 9 V to 5 V first

NDS !000 has better Jitter Clock and Sound Quality is also better than NDS 1
 
NDS 1000 : better soundsatge and better depth than NDS 1
 
NDS 1000 : better tonal balance , high more extended and more open
                  better Bass more clean and detail Bass comnpare to NDS 1
 
NDS 1000 has better Build Quality with Stainless Steel Body vs NDS 1 from Plastic
 
NDS 1000 weigh 1,1 Kg , NDS 1 weigh only 0,m4 Kg

Today i have back my PSU DIY with Torodial transformer ex my Defected Monitor Audio.
 
The Result is very good , my impression as follow :
 
High : more prominent and free and more detail
 
Mid : more body and full sound, more clear and detail 
        Piano sound very detail and i can hear the echo from every tone
 
Bass : more  impact and very deep and clean and detail Bass 
 
Soundstage : wider and has better depth now 
 
Separation : much better amd i can hear the instrument placement more acurate.
                  The Background is now very Black
 
Conculsion ; Onkyo NDS 1000 with external DIY PSU improve the Sound Quality very good.
                   No wonder many Company from U K sell many type of external PSU for NDS 1. some
                   sell the PSU more expensive than the Onkyo NDS 1.
 
Recomandation : it is worth it to upgrade the PSU for Onkyo NDS 1000
                         can improve SQ about 30 %

Hi. I´m thinking of buying the onkyo nd s1000 but i´d like to know if my ipod classic 7th would fit with its case on and if the computer usb connection works ok. Does anyone know it? Thanks
