Making my first foray into custom IEMs and hoping to expand my knowledge base (all I really know about is Westone and 64 audio)
Key points
- Strong bass, great vocals (mostly female), violins should make me cry
- low profile/isolation: my roommates like to parody hyenas. I don't have any ear wax buildup at all and manage to sleep with Universals albeit awkwardly so I think customs might even be comfortable for me.
I first looked into 64 audio but with the reduced isolation due to ADEL and the profile looking rather large I don't think this is an option. If I had to pick one right now I'd probably go with the ES50. I liked the Pro 30s a lot before they broke.
Just looking for some more names to consider. Genuinely appreciate any advice.
P.S. anyone know a good audiologist in kitchener-Waterloo for impressions?
