Hi, all,

I'm having a bit of trouble choosing between the Custom Art Music Two, and the Alclair Reference as my first CIEM. I live in the US.

I'm coming from a GR07 BE. I love detailed sound, and I really don't like when a spectrum of sound is veiled by another (looking at you, RHA T10i!).

The durability and more forgiving fit of the (silicon) Music Two are rather appealing to me, but I'm worried the mids might be pretty recessed compared to the Alclair Reference. Mids are important to me.

So, I need help on your thoughts on the sound signatures of both.

Not sure if it is still going but there is a Custom Art demo tour going round the states atm.  Detail's are http://www.head-fi.org/t/741770/customart-us-ciem-demo-lineup-tour-including-harmony-8-pro

Maybe it's not too late to put your name on the list and have a listen to the models.

Thanks.

I've pretty much decided on the Music Twos, even though the turnaround will be thrice as long as the Alclairs . From what I hear, silicone is very worth it, and the Music Twos seem to be appreciated.

I'm not sure where I'll be when the tour comes around, so I'm not sure if I should sign up.

Hi

Well it wouldn't hurt to pm the organiser of the tour (barra) but either way I'm sure you won't go wrong with the M2's.
