The following changes and improvements have been made to the FW1.0.2 compared to the FW1.0.1 on M11 Plus:

1. Added a new function to disable battery charging (you can enable it in Settings-Battery);

2. Added a new function to hide the full screen indicator when using gesture navigation (you can enable it in Settings-Global-System navigation-Gesture navigation);

3. Added a new option to the multifunction button setting: Lock screen/Wake up;

4. Added more timers options for idle poweroff;

5. Added the option of 'Do not display again' in the pop-up window when All to DSD function is enabled;

6. Fixed the issue where the white noise might be heard while playing music in Bluetooth transmitting mode;

7. Miscellaneous improvements on performance.

Does this mean when it's being used as a DAC on a PC it's not going to charge the battery?

@FiiO what about the original M11 DAP?
No FW update since Dec. 2020... Hopefully, you did not abandon it :thinking:
Would make sense to port some of these new changes to the M11 as well...

Yes, when battery charging is disabled, the M11 Plus would not be charged when used as a USB DAC on the PC.

The M11 may not have more firmware update. But the FiiO Music app is still keep updating: FiiO Music App-Download link

Yes, this function is added since some users are worried about the battery life when keep connecting the M11 Plus to the computer as USB DAC for long time. So we add the function of turning off the battery charging in this new firmware.

Nice to have a firmware update but why did you (FiiO) remove most of the wallpapers from version 1.0? Is there a source where I can re-download them?

The M11 Plus with using its own battery when battery charging is disabled. It is safe to use it at that time.

Dear friend,

It is safe to connect the M11 Plus to the power supply even when charging is set to off. You could connect it to the power supply still if you would prefer. But the M11 Plus will not be charged at that time.

to confirm M11 Plus ESS can only update to 1.02, but M11 Plus LTD can update to 1.07?
