Nope, I prefer to just use my mouse or mousepad while browsing, that's why I hate it to have to use the keyboard to get a new tab. The new safari beta is better though, they finally add the "new tab' button

Firefox tends to use a lot of RAM. It would probably be slower than the others on computers with less RAM.

I don't think that's the case since my macbook and my windows machine got plenty of rams (4gb) and on both of them I found firefox is slower compare to chrome or safari.

Yeah, Firefox is a slough on Mac OS X.
Probably because its drawing all windows using XUL and not the native Aqua. I take Camino and Safari over Firefox any day...

Yep, It's pretty annoying sometimes, Chrome is way way faster, however the lack of plug-ins keeps me using Firefox.

Still, 3.1 betas show speed improvements, so...yay I guess.

If only Google would launch a new Chrome version with plug-in support and ported it to Linux...

If only Google released Chrome for us Mac OS X users, like me, the OP, and others...

I still wouldn't use it. Being the superficial person that I am, I find it even uglier than Firefox and therefore unusable.

I used firefox exclusively for years, since version beta 1.

I started using Google's Chrome browser about 5 months ago and haven't touched firefox since. Chrome is so much faster, not so cumbersome and buggy as firefox either.

Myself I just started rocking the Safari 4 Beta today. First impression: Nice. Takes some getting used to though.
But yeah, I agree Firefox is slow on OS X. Hence my switch back to Safari.

I think FF3 might need greater resources than FF2, and run slower on some machines.

I agree Chrome on MS Windows is not beautiful, but I keep the hope up until they actually release it on Mac OS X. As it may not look the same...
Will need something really special to get me to switch browser though.

I've never found a reason to stop using Internet Explorer 7.

IE7Pro - The Ultimate Add-On for Internet Explorer

This program takes care of ads and flash. Also has advanced tab/session management. That's all I need really.

The supposed speed/virus problem that people seem to attribute to IE as fact, I've never noticed. In fact, I can't remember a single instance of an IE acquired virus, it's usually from infected USB drives or suspect CDs.
