Today is the day Mozilla will be releasing the final, gold version of everyone's favorite browser, Firefox 3.0. In addition, they are encouraging everybody to go download the browser in an attempt to set a world record for the most software downloaded in a 24-hour period.

I checked the about button in my Firefox browser and it already showed 3.0. Maybe because I was a beta tester.

I was running 3.0Rc3 before today. Good product. Cjeck out the PCMAG review. They gave it Editors choice.
