So ive finally broke into getting a decent pair of IEMs ( RE0 ) and have some Sennheiser Px360 on the way. Now i am wondering if an amp is needed or not. The RE0 sound pretty great alone but i have a feeling that the PX360's might need a little extra.. push. (maybe not idk yet.) like i said im trying to find out what amp would be best for both of these sets. If it helps at all i listen to mainly rock, all types really. And am using the Ipod touch 4th gen.

I see a lot of people talking about the Fiio brand items and how good they are, but if anyone has any input on other brands they are very welcome.

thanks in advance. :)

32ohms and 110db SPL, seems like the PX360 is intended to be used unamped. Unless you are use some really bad source like a cheap onboard soundcard, you should be fine
