For the past few weeks I've been in some turmoil over deciding which cans to buy. Since I got my DarkVoice 336i a month or so ago, I have been wanting to upgrade my HD595s to either the 600 or 650. There are so many threads/opinions about both, positive and negative that I finally just decided to jump off and get the HD650. Hell, I was even beginning to throw the 580 into the mix. So now I have HD650 on order from B&H Photo and should see them in a couple days. I sincerely HOPE they are a good match with my DV amp...

I use the HD650's with my DV and I LOVE the combination. The next step
for me is to upgrade the output caps to black gates.

During my research I also read much about the necessity or NOT to burn those puppies in before they come to life. How did/do they sound to you with the DV? I plan to start using them right out of the box...

Well I was the third or fourth owner of the Senn's, so they were plenty
burned in by the time I got them. I can't imagine anyone wanting to get
rid of them in the first place.
