pix and reviews will come tomorrow!!!!

and according to vinnie, it's going to take 3-4weeks to get it modded...
i want it now!!! but i really don't know if i need a 80g...
fat, heavy and too much space?!?!?!

manaox2> true true. but
it seems a lot of the 5.5 comes with the v-cap. maybe the reason for being so expensive?
in either way, if i get an imod i'll mos def get those from you.

themagician>PMed you back!

YHPM! The v-Cap dock itself is $350, and a combo vCap with a Jumbo Cryo is $455. The iMod costs $495. I'll be honest and say that if you have the funds, save yourself the money and buy the vCap dock straight away from ALO. It will save you having to buy the iMod cable and I don't think an official portable vCap dock is going to show up used without an iMod with it and not for a while. The reason the iMod itself is so expensive is because of the labor that goes into it along with the lifetime warranty from Vinnie. Getting the iMod from ALO or Vinnie makes it actually what I call a good deal, if something messes up like the hard drive or battery, Vinnie would charge next to nothing ($10 to $25 to repair it).

Good luck with your search.

more pics like i promised and my personal review.
*btw, i don't own any other custom IEM, so i have no idea
how an UE-11 or Sensa would sound like. my exgf had some
shure phones that i used to borrow. that's around it.

and yes the cables are detachable.
not a lot of burn time but my first impression.

ahh before i start... i was told that this custom was made of 2high and 1low.
so i was concerned about how the bass would sound because it was
something i never heard of.

but when i first got it and listened to some hiphop and bassy electronic
music i was blown away by how much bass this thing had.
to my surprise, it felt like bass stood out more than the rest of the sound.
the clearness is absolutely fabulous.
i'm hearing bits and pieces of sounds that i never heard before.
rediscovery of music...

how to discribe the mid and the high...
the usual "warm and rich" that people discribe? lol
the high extends in a way that it doesn't disturb me
in other cheap earphones that i used in the past.
it felt as if the they were trying to bump up the high...
it didn't sound natural but these... oh... i love these!!!
and the female vocals have never felt more sexier and
beautiful. like whispers right behind me.
(never knew explaining sound would be this hard. lol)

i have to say that this may be one of the best things that i bought
in my life. it enhances my music life and made me
realise what i have been missing for the past years.
if you are ever in japan you should mos def check this guy out.

Looks awsome. Wish you could post the price so we could get a comparason from other makers. Sounds like they are great iem's.

Difference being that you have a true 3 way crossover with 1 high 1 mid and 2 low aramature where with those you have a 2 way crossover and 1 low and 2 high.

correction: 1 high, 1 mid, and 2 low three way crossover on the UE-11. 1 high and 2 low two way crossover on the SE530.
