I checked a bunch if not all on play store.    Equalizer FX works with every player, but most important Tidal..which doesn't have native EQ.   Most dont seem to work at all for some reason.   Listening to AKG 550s, very little sacrifice of purity and works perfectly in/out of  Quad-DAC/Hi-Fi mode.   I got my Bass Boost back now, and Virtualizer functions ...yay!!
 
Hope this helps others looking for a good EQ on this puppy.

Are you rooted? Just use V4A/ATMOS.
