What would be a better iem to buy. The Final Audio E4000 or the E5000. Will use it with a Fiio BTR7 and spotify, FLAC etc. Will the Tripowin Jelly cable with 4.4mm be a good upgrade to use with the BTR7 ? There is a considerable price difference between the 2 iems. Does the E5000 justify almost double the price to the E4000 ? Genres - EDM, Hip Hop, Classical. Pop -- am a Basshead.

E4000 is a warm set with big bass, but E5000 is even darker and bigger in the bass (L shape).
Both sets are hard to drive, but the E5000 is one of the most notoriously difficult IEMs to drive, due to a low sensitivity, most portable gear cannot drive it well - by well, I don't mean volume, but that the E5000's bass is boomy and nebulous when not driven properly.
Both sets have thick note weight (E5000 more so), and are smooth and non fatiguing. Though they are both weak in technicalities compared to similarly priced single DD sets.
Thanks a lot for the inputs. Hope my BTR7 will be able to drive the e5000. Any other options in the ear bud shaped iems ? I don’t like to wear my iems around the ear.
The rest of the Final E series are all bullet shaped designs.
Check out the Sony XBA N3 also, big bass, and extremely coherent for a hybrid, great timbre and non fatiguing, better technicalities than Final E4000/5000

Well the sony is not available in my country so no go.
