Hey guys, searched around quite a bit and got lots of great info except for one piece that is pretty important to me...

I film dirt bikes at a fairly close range and deal with high noise levels often. These bikes produce anywhere from 90-115db a good deal of the time.

My budget is around $100 and it seems like the obvious consenus is the V6s or the HD280s and I am leaning towards the HD280s because they seem to be the best in terms of isolation and I won't be wearing them for more than 10 mins at a time so the comfort issue isnt to concerning.

My question is, with high noise levels, how much can I expect these headphones to isolate? and are there any better options while still retaining sound quality? and how well do V6s isolate?

Thanks for any help.

It would be hard to beat the HD280s for that type of environment. I don't know of any that compare really.

Looking into other "DJ" headphones would be another place to look, but I'm happy with my HD280s.
