I recently purchased the Fiio X7 ii and noticed relatively loud popping sounds whenever connecting my IEM's. One channel measures 0.0 mv and the other measures 29.9 mv across the two pins that go into the IEM. From memory, it's best that the offset be less that 10 mv and ideally 0 mv, otherwise it can damage headphones over the long term. Do I have this wrong? I've found this on two X7 ii's so might not be a defect. My feeling is I should send it back and pick up a different DAP.
