FiiO X5  I am new, if there is already a thread on this issue i missed it in my search. Once i play a high res file from HD Tracks the equalizer stops working and everything seems to be very flat. I can reset the unit and on the second or third try the sound improves and the equalizer is functional  with cd's converted to flac ( i just need a little boost in the lows). Once i play higher res flacs i have problems again. I have updated the firmware (2.0-2.07). I finally bit the bullet and order this device and after twenty four hours i already have issues. Can someone help me?

Since EQ adjustment for high sample rate files would cause system unresponsiveness, we limited EQ adjustments to files with sample rates 48kHz or lower."

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that one I open a higher resolution file then I have to reset the device in order to use the eq. Do you recommend only files under 48?

If you want to use the equalizer then yes. You should use files with sample rate under 48 000 hz.
