What software works best for checking and standardizing tags for X3?   I intend to use Foobar.   Additionally what tagging works on the X3?   ID3v1, 2 etc.
 
As it stands my X3 does not recognize any of my tags therefore I cannot do Media Library Updates.   My music only shows up under the File Icon and I have to load my music in a batch file.
 
My files are wav and mp3

How are you files tagged right now?

Running Update Media Library, message is 'Update Failed 0 Song Updated!"  this either manual or automatic updating
 
MP3 Files tagged id3v2.3 and id3v1
 
Wav Files: PCM codec

Joe - here is some more background.  I cannot solve this issue.
 
1. I formatted TF card in X3 so now card name is X3 TF1
2. I loaded music both mp3 and wav format
3. I tried to update media library manually
 
RESULT:  UPDATE FAILED 0 Song UPDATED is the message.    Playback icon also is failed message.  Music can only be found under File icon.
 
4. I took out TF card and updated media library

RESULT:  UPDATE FAILED 0 Song UPDATED is the message.    Playback icon also is failed message.  Music can only be found under File icon.
 
5.  I inserted media card again

RESULT:  UPDATE FAILED 0 Song UPDATED is the message.    Playback icon also is failed message.  Music can only be found under File icon.
 
What suggestion now?
