I recently purchased this unit along with a Aune B1 amp.  I'm not completely confident that I have the two hooked together correctly. I have the x3 line/coax out connected to the amp using a standard stereo connector.  I have the Multifunctional outputs menu item set to line out.  
 
Is this the correct setup for this unit? I noticed connecting this way you lose any ability to set the EQ. I suppose you supposedly don't need eq when driving an amp but since the amp doesn't have any eq adjustments it would seem nice to have that option.

An amplifier would have a analog (wave) line-input and I believe your using the X3 Gen II coaxial (digital) output.
When you should be using the X3 Gen II Line-Output (LO) analog output, to connect to the amplifier.
I'm I making sense?
