i am a new FiiO X3 and i really like it !!! ...is a really nice Hardware and
the Software will also
 
The last two days a read a lot threads about it and for the moment theres is
only one stupid questions left:
 
Which idtag i have to set, to get my flac files played gapless ?
 
I search a lot and the only flag with gapless i found is: ITUNESGAPLESS

Is this the answer can someone confirm ? I would be really nice if someone can
give me a helping hand ?

the other way is wait our new firmware fix this trouble.

Try to format your memory card using 32kB allocation unit. This improves a read performance and helps not to put an extra gap between the songs. Also moving the albums onto the embedded memory helps. This solved my problem with gapless albums.

Playing gapeless (for suitable file types) is automatic. You just need to browse your files (which is better than going in albums) then turn off and on the device. X3 goes on playing in gapeless. As X3 has a very fast initialization, I use this feature a lot.

Good find, but a new firmware version is promised any day now, which hopefully will make this extra step redundant.
