Hi guys I need suggestion on a new DAP. I'm not a audiophile but I want my music to sound good with my limited budget. I've been using my Cowon S9 for 4-5 years now, I still love it but it's (slowly) breaking down so I'm searching for an upgrade in the price range of 100-200 € (+ SD card cost).

- I pair my S9 with Audio-Technica ATH M-40
- I listen to a lot of music on my crapty ASUS F501A laptop (so a DAC wouldn't be bad maybe, but I'm no expert) which is connected to some Harman/Kardon Soundsticks II
- I also drive a lot so my car is always bumping some music
- I go the gym often so an overly bulky device maybe isn't the best
- I listen mostly to techno, hip-hop, heavy metal, funk, house, electro, soul, indie
- I'd like to have a device that let's you delete songs from the device itself.
- I'd love to have the possibility to sort my music by BPM but I heard no one has that feature

Now I'm literally torn between the X1 (185€) and the X3 (86€) and the million dollar question is always the same: is it worth spending 100€ more for a device that has (slightly some says) better sound quality and is built with a DAC ?

Should I also consider the A15 or maybe the Cowon Plenue D?
