The reverting firmware function has supported in the latest firmware. After updating with a future new firmware, you can always choose to revert to this version but not the older one.

Or you may try the standalone version to see if it helps: The download link of the standalone release version: Click here
you can uninstall the embedded FiiO Music and install the standalone release version. And when using the standalone version, it's suggested to set the 'Custom background' to a 'Fixed background' in app Settings -> Theme, so to get better running fluency)

Dear M9 users, is M9's card indexing process done in the background? i.e. am I forced to look at a "scanning metadata" screen before I am allowed to browse folders (as in a sony dap), or am I allowed to browse folders as scanning is being done in the background (as in a ak dap)? Thanks!

I'm trying to figure out the best way to connect my M9 to my Shure KSE1200. What is the difference between using Line Out with volume control vs the headphone amplifier with volume control? What would be the better options? Thanks.

The right way is Line Out so your player will send the max volume to the amplifier and then you will set your volume from the amplifier only. Line Out with Volume is just an extra and not so useful feature, all the dap I used were always set to LO with max volume .

Thanks, the only problem is that the KSE1200 requires a certain input level or at least a range, so just maxing it won't work.
