Looking at k9 akm, it should be similar akm sound with smoother a little warmer tuning versus ess. I know it even there is no reviews yet. Nothing new. Other than that similar to m11 plus.

Since you also mentioned an iBasso, I would refer another brand as well. The Hiby R6P2 - priced same, almost same components but with dual AK4499EX DACs, slightly less battery life, much better and latest Software. The DX300 is outdated now. If you like iBasso sound, why not go for a used Dx320 instead ?

If you are also considering used options, the HiBy R8 II and the A&K SE300 sometimes appear used at good prices. Just trying to make it even more difficult
