Hi everyone,

I am fairly new to all of this but ive been trying to dabble into different areas of audiophiliac practices. lol
So the issue I have is that when i use UAPP (short for USB Audio Player Pro) app and the in-app purchase feature called Tonebooster for PEQ (short for parametric equalizer) it does not appear to make any difference. As if the software or the hardware is not letting the application take over the sound signature and apply the eq.
The same issue does not happen on my phone. When i use the app, the EQ correctly applies to music from Tidal and local files and everything is fine but the M11Pro is giving me a hard time allowing UAPP to do its magic. What seems to be the problem?

Thank you for taking time to read and respond.

You can check if "Bit-perfect" mode is enabled. If yes, then it will not allow EQ to take effect. You can do this by going to Settings-Internal HiRes audio-Bit Perfect mode. Click on that and set to Off. Might need to restart the program for effect.

Just for information, does the normal build in EQ works ? Not the Toneboosters one.

If nobody else sees this topic here, you can write in the main UAPP thread: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/usb...usb-audio-support-for-android.704065/page-264

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately the steps above did not really work. I will take your second advice and post there asking people if they have seen this issue before. Also Tonebooster is just an in app purchase plug-in for UAPP. It is a parametric EQ with 10 bands and adjustable width. It works flawlessly on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 but since Fiio uses an older version of android, I am not sure if the EQ back end can make those kinds of API calls or whatever its engineered to affect the sound signature. Thank you.

Ok. Android version should not matter. Meybe its Fiio specific tho....
You can also write to the developer of the program, Davy Wentzler. He was active in the main UAPP topic above, but i guess he is busy lately. So you can write them at their support mail as well: https://www.extreamsd.com/index.php/contactmenu

That here is his comment for example: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/usb...ort-for-android.704065/page-221#post-15390251
He is the man that can help best. I hear he always answers on the support email given at their site.
