@FiiO will there be a systemwide upsampling option to setting (like min 88.2/96kHz) or to a fixed one? That would be great as I use this feature (also the crossfeed-option) on qudelix 5k very often to get the frequency roll off start point beyond 22kHz when using short delay filtering to hold preringing in check with some sensitiv iems.
The cross-feed-option also helps with some annoying recordings that were masterd for speakers an have some instrumentations only on one channel.

edit reason: meant upsampling wrote oversampling
Dear friend,

Thanks for the feedback. We will report to the engineer and assess about that first.

Best regards

My FIIO M11 LTD in Mode DAC - USB connected to a computer with Windows 10
Tidal running here in Exclusive mode - works fine (when I run YT in the same time - an audio rendering error appears - this should be a fair situation).

Yesterday I installed Windows 11 and turning on the exlusive mode in Tidal (Mode DAC-USB)
I still hear system sounds and Tidal does not take control in YT there is no rendering error message and I hear sounds from Tidal mixed together.
Does your Exlusive mode in Tidal work properly in Windows 11?

@FiiO I purchased a HomePod mini under the assumption it acted like a Bluetooth speaker, which it doesn’t. The M11 plus has an airplay receiver, which I tried, and my iPhone sends the audio there no problem. Can the M11 plus send its audio output from FiiO Music app to an airplay receiver like a HomePod mini?

Windows 11 Tidal app > settings > speaker > more settings > Use Exclusive + Forced Volume
Windows 11 Control Panel > Speakers > Disable All Enhancements. Advanced Tab > Test Speakers (no sounds)

Tidal works fine.

This is how I have the settings in Tidal and Windows.

I hear system noises while playing Tidal.
Previously, in Win10, when I did not turn off the sound in YT, there was a decoding error - it should be.
Currently, the sound from YT mix with Tidal=Tidal Exlusive mode it does not take control of the system

The installation of the FIIO USB DAC drivers helped.
v4.47.0 or v5.22.0 Beta (works on both).
Without this driver, Windows 11 mixed system sounds or other programs ex.YT together with Tidal in Exlusive mode.
The volume icon in Windows 11 on task bar before install this driver had the description of Volume - Headphones (FIIO M11 PLus Ltd)
after install driver change to description Volume- Speakers (FIIO M Series) - such a description was in windows 10 and without installing the driver

Now it is OK Exclusive mode in Tidal works, Windows does not mix system sounds with Tidal,
Music control from M11 works, and the correct sampling of songs is displayed in USB DAC mode on DAP.

Dear friend,

No, the M11Plus could not output to the speaker via Airplay.

Hi, I've got a question about fast charging the M11 Plus, I think it is limited to 27 watts, but if I have a charger that outputs 45 watts will it damage the M11+ or will the M11+ limit what it accepts?

Sorry for my ignorance, I don't understand this stuff!!!

Does anyone know why I can't stream from my Bandcamp App on the M11+ to my DAC/Amp via the USB output? Files held on the internal storage work and the 3.5mm Line Out option works as well.

Is this the same with other streaming apps? Or just something particular with Bandcamp?

Thanks
@FiiO

Bump!!

Has anyone had any joy getting Bandcamp to work with USB out to an external DAC/Amp?

Thanks

The M11 Pro will limit what it gets. With USB-C PD the device and the charger negotiate what voltage to use and that's one parameter which limits the amount of power available. The M11 Plus charges at up to 27W, which is the maximum for 9V.

I've not charged mine from flat, however - using a USB power meter, I can see that using QC3, it sits at about 4.65v and around 3 amps... I've yet to see it kick in at the higher rate, although I might try a PD charger at some point and see if there is a difference between QC3 and PD charging speeds.

My understanding is that QC3 is a proprietary algorithm from Qualcomm vs. PD3 which is a USB standard format. Unless BOTH the charger and the device support QC3 you will not see higher charging voltages/faster charging. I use an ANKER PD3 charger and get much faster times and charge rates than that.

Question: Am I reading the specs. om M11 Plus ESS that when in USB-DAC mode, DSD is limited to 128? This seems below standard, even my FiiO BTR will do DSD256.

If it is limited to DSD128 currently, can we expect that to be increased via future firmware update.>
