Whoa, I just got a used Fiio M11 Plus LTD. This is my first Fiio product since I got into this hobby over 10 years ago with the OG Fiio e17.

I am legitimately shocked by how good this DAP is. I am coming from a Chord Mojo 2 & Poly combination and while that sounds really good, I think the M11 Plus LTD is better for half the cost. It certainly has a much quieter noise floor and offers balanced headphone out, which is great. This DAP feels amazing in the hand and everything just works... works well and works easily (can't say the same for Chord's products). Now that Fiio's DAPs are Roon-ready (for those of us using Roon), it's a no brainer. All-in-all, this is the best downgrade I've ever made.

M11s looks like a winner too, although it might cannibalize their plus line.
Maybe, but considering they have pretty much abandoned the lower market, the M11s becomes a stretch purchase for anyone who was at the high end of that "lower end". At $499.99 it probably addresses that $500 threshold that some people have around hardware expenses (until they have been doing this a while ;) ) and those above that $500 mark would never consider a downgrade to lesser components and sacrifice sound quality...

Yeah I recently got the M11S due to the Roon support, I've since sold my Poly.

FiiO daps are pretty great, I must say.

Hell yeah, dived in as soon as Roon Ready was released, all my other head rigs redundant now and sold on. In fact it’s my primary listening now my speaker system doesn’t get a look in. Fantastic product really kicked it out of the park. I am amazed at stable the Roon side is. Well done to Fiio there as A&K was dreadful.

Just recently got my m11+ yesterday.

It's extremely good :)

Any silicone case recommendation? I searched on AliExpress but it have square hole in the back of the silicone case, which I think it's useless and can scratch the m11+.

Thanks :)

That is the only one I have seen on the market either on eBay, Amazon or anywhere else. The other option would be a leather case. I have the one with the hole in the back and I have had zero scratching issues as all of the primary contact points are covered.

Thank you I'll consider it :)

Btw , is it possible to use 2 output at the same time?

One is for headphone, one is for speaker source. But why? For music mixing/editing purpose. Thanks:)

Please double check any silicone case that you see on AliExpress, eBay or Amazon since the only silicone case that I've been able to find is actually for the M11 Pro and will not fit no nor work well with the M11 Plus.

I remember owning e5000.
It has bad technicality, but the tone is very good and pleasing. One of my favorites iem so far.

It should be super good with m11+ ^^

Since its (E5K) lack of treble and aggressiveness.
