In the KA3 product fiio webpage there is a diagram that says the KA3 has some kind of low jitter oscillator.

There is no similar diagram on the KA5 webpage so there is not somewhere I can find explicitly this information. But I am guessing though that KA5 also would have some kind of jitter elimination system or am I completely wrong?

The KA5 also uses the low jitter oscillator

Hello the house!

I am a toad who is true to his word and as such FiiO having made a Dongle DAC/AMP sans the bane that is MQA for music enthusiasts that loathe that farce of a codec...Well...I just ordered my self a new KA5.

Yup! I have long been a FiiO enthusiast but refuse to support MQA in any way so I waited and FiiO has rewarded my patience with the KA5. Thank you FiiO! I shall let you know my thoughts/impressions in a week or so but for now I can only say that the stunning good looks and renowned FiiO quality coupled with no MQA is enough for me to make this purchase and I look forward to listening to music via it.

I shall also seek out my son for his thoughts on this beauty. If he says he likes it, I shall immediately order another one for him!

Thank you (!) for at last making some thing I can actually purchase for portable use with my 'phones and laptop or tablet! I am using it now with my laptop as I read these forums! As much as I like your products I stuck to my promise not to support MQA from any manufacturer, even FiiO. Thank you again for shunning MQA on this wonderful product!

I ordered two dongles today.
1) Fiio KA5
And
2) Fosi Audio DS1

My first foray into dongles. I kept my LG V30 going for about five and a half years, but I finally had to upgrade.
No 3.5mm jacks anywhere.

So, a great value DAC/amp and one of the market leaders. Should be fun!

Just received that a week after order from China with courier and I paid 8£ something without vat probably I paid only the courier. I think these are sent to owners complementary. I will check at night at home.

I never understood why the back should be glass ...for heat dissipation? Why the back is from glass in ibasso ??? I prefer the Alluminium back of ka3 but this is just me.

Probably yes, I've tested it on some linux and it worked perfectly! it even worked on my ps5!

I live in Singapore, item is from Taobao. I guess I got lucky with the shipment?

Dongle fits snugly, but sometimes it might slide out when you unplug the 4.4mm if it is quite tight.

Everything is clear, I did not know that from Taobao you can order to countries other than China.
Only Aliexpress is available to me. I'm looking forward to my case, another 10 days.

I am listening to Louis Prima via my laptop out to the KA5. It sounds like Mr. Prima and the FiiO looks great sooooooo...I am happy!

I fear I will have to get a cover to protect this but that would cover up its "look". Damned if I do and damned if I do not!

Very nice looking! I ordered my KA5 from Amazon in Canada and the case is not available here. I would like to have that.
