Yes, without turning your phone screen ON, you can play/pause & skip tracks.

I could not activate the track change by long pressing the volume button via USB Audio Player PRO. it helps me to change the settings of KA5 so that the track changes without long pressing the volume button. but there is no such problem with other players. through the PC, too, everything works as it should.
I couldn't do anything, I don't want to change the track change mode in the KA5 settings, I decided not to pay attention to the problem. maybe UAPP the developer will finish the compatibility.

I remember seeing something about hardware volume control in UAPP, DO you have that enabled? This feature is the deciding factor for me in purchasing the KA5. I would like it to work with UAPP

I don't know the theory & I don't know whether the sampling rate has got something to do with 3.5 or 4.4. I'm just stating my problem here which is also weird to me. Moreover all 24Bit 48Khz files remain silent/no output via 4.4mm. I had to post this issue here to know whether it occurs only with mine or others too with android device that supports up to 768Khz. I did try the same files with an android device supporting upto 192Khz & it sounded fine.

1. What kind of phone are you? Some HID phones need to be set.

2. UAPP has a DAC advanced setting - enable USB hardware button setting. You try it first

I personally meant two different cases. One deep red as the back in the above picture- very nice red so the case one colour this red. And another blue all the case to be one colour blue. So two cases with different colours. Sorry if I was not clear in my message above.

But this is my personal opinion if people like it go for it.

The two colour in one case is interesting but needs to be matched well and probably we need to see more pictures in order to be certain.

I personally feel a bit ambivalent about the green in the photo above I like the red on the back.

Anyway personal taste is paramount here will get probably 100 different opinions...LOL...

I know you want two colors, but that means two SKUs. One color is a little monotonous, so I tried this red flower with green leaves, haha.

Of course, I have everything set up as it should be. if you hold down the volume, then instead of changing the track, the menu starts, where different options are enabled, such as equalizer and other modes. but it is not necessary that this will happen with all smartphones, the manufacturer has tested these capabilities for any reason, apparently this is a rare incompatibility.

1. At the moment Xiaomi 12X. I have other smartphones and tablets, but all of them are also from Xiaomi and there are MIUI 14/Android 13 everywhere, so I didn't even try them.

2. Enabling the USB-HID option for hardware buttons has no effect. I think this is a banal incompatibility of the UAPP and the firmware of my smartphone. so I'm not worried about it. there is no such problem with all other players.
