I’m thinking of upgrading from the zen dac v2/can to the K9. Aside from power, will I get anymore out of the K9 with my Ananda Stealth?
I don’t think so. I’m using my Ananda with the Fiio K5 Pro and Topping A30 Pro. Although the former is 1.5W at 32 Ohms and the latter is 5.5W, I don’t hear any sound differences at all. My peak sound pressure levels are 85 dB for rock, pop… and 90 dB for classical.I’m thinking of upgrading from the zen dac v2/can to the K9. The 2 HP will be in parallel. Unless their impedances are extremely low, it’s most likely “safe”. But that does not make it a good idea: if the 2 HP impedance values and impedance curves (vs frequency) are different, one is going to sound louder than the other, one with less bass and more mids or treble or whatever… neither is going to sound right!Hi guys,
Ive got 2 headphones both with balanced cable, 1 is xlr and other 4.4mm.
Is it safe to use both headphones at the same time on the balanced outputs?
Ah I gotcha, since volume wont be matched between the 2 headphones due to differences in impedance/sensitivity.The 2 HP will be in parallel. Dear friend,Ive noticed that bluetooth on my unit seems a bit flaky, like I get weird intermittent fluttering in the audio.
I updated mine to latest bluetooth firmware version 1.1.
Anyone else got this problem?

Cool - but probably belongs in the K9 Pro thread instead of the K9 (non-Pro) thread.
Dear friend,
You may try to clear the pairing and reconnect to see whether it helps?
【Clear pairing】
If you have already connected to other Bluetooth devices, you can force the K9 to pair with the new device by pressing and holding [INPUT] for 5 seconds.
Best regards
