Does anyone else think that the power/volume button should act as the "back" button when in the menu's? I find navigation so slow having to hold down the "input" button to go backwards. Holding the input button should send you to the main screen and pressing the input button while on the main screen should have the same function as it does now and turn the screen off (if you want to do that for some reason). I also think that selecting some options such as equalizer options and filters should not send you back to the previous screen but give you some indication of what you have selected instead. This would make switching between or "AB-ing" equalizer presets easier.

I agree. I also suggested allowing you to scroll up and looping to the end. That would at least get you to the back button quicker in some of the menus.

Got a word from their support that K19 does not support HDMI-CEC. Very unfortunate. That coupled with the fact its not HDMI 2.1 makes the HDMI part of this device relatively useless imho. HDMI-CEC should imo have been a priority 0 as people can still buy a 3P HDMI splitter.

Sorry,K19 not support CEC control of volume.

That's a good idea, but in practical operation, there are also cases where the rotation is too fast, so K19 chose one-way loop. Please be aware.

I got the K19 this past week and really enjoying it. I am having a small issue with Chromecast Audio (yes, the old little circular device). The K19 won't playback from the optical (toslink) from that device. It does work fine with my SMSL PO100 Pro with Optical though. It's just the Chromecast. Is this a jitter or latency issue? For reference, I tried three different cables, and the Chromecast Audio works on my Holo Spring 3 KTE DAC and prior DACs just fine. These other dacs seem to have PLL control and PLL locking mechanisms, but the K19 does not. Would that improve things?

A couple other features I'd love to see related to the Menu are:

1. Having the menu selection be able to go backwards and loop to the end, so that you do not have to scroll all the way down to the "Go Back" selection. This way you can just move up from a long list to Go Back.

2. Have the LED controls in the menu, although this isn't really that necessary. That said, is there a way to use more custom RGB color choices in the app?

3. Have option to display the volume as the main display when changing so its easier to see it. Right now, the volume is displayed in the top left and its very small to see from a distance.

Other than that, I really dig this device. It's relatively small and packs a lot of punch and features.

Whats the ECD for the S15 streamer? Is that going to be made to match the size/design of the K19?

Chromecast Audio doesn't seem to have fiber optic output. Which device did you connect the K19 fiber optic input port to? Is it TV?

All good here, pretty happy so far, no major issues and the FW update did bring some quality of life improvements (screen turns on with volume change)
Still enjoying it and feel no need to seek anything else for now.

received my k19 today, first impression: extremely precise and detailed audio, great mids, clarity and highs. Better then my previous topping dx9.
Not as warmth as my topping dx9.
