I wanted to buy the Fiio FH7 for my LG v40.
All of the "independed", specialist onYouTube and in the net, tested this InEar very positiv.
On the other hand, even in this forum, some people sell these second hand. Some speak of bright sound, very neutral and lack of bass.
What do you thinkon the Fiio FH7?

Find Fh7 brighter than FH5s but much more tighter when it come to sound and bass therefore there is less reverb in bass making them sound brighter. Bass is still there but again tighter and quicker. Fh5 sound great and have kicking bass and dynamics. Feel of bass more pronounced in FH5 and FH7 more balanced. If you love bass FH5 is way to go and cheaper. Bought mine used for 150$ US dollars.

I'm pretty late to the party on this, but I've had a pretty good experience with the Fiio FH7s. Granted, they were the first "hi-fi" set of IEMs I ever bought, but I still think they hold up quite well relative to their (second-hand market) price. I'll grant you that they could use some more sub-bass, though they have some reasonably thick mid-bass that adds some nice body to male vocals. I'm not sure I'd classify them as "bright" IEMs either, though the treble spike at 10k hz is admittedly kinda weird.

I had the Fiio FH7 around 6 months ago and I did not enjoy it all. I recall the bass feeling nonexistent because at that point all the headphones I had tried were sub-bass focused. They also sounded strange tonality wise... but I cannot help but feel I got a defective unit, because they just sounded off. You could try them out on Amazon to see whether you like them
