I need some suggestion if it's possible to restore my scratched FH5s. I need to send them to Fiio or it's possible to do it at home?
Thanks headfiers!

I wish I had experience on iems... with headphones, I disassemble, lightly scuff or chemically strip depending on the material, prime, and respray. There are epoxies, fillers, and other things to conceal divots (sp?) If you can get it down to its base components and remove the driver, the shell I think can be repaired or at least made to look better.

So, no so simple
Lol, it's not as bad as it sounds (pun).

Maybe look at iem teardown videos if you can't find disassembly of your specific one. I'm thinking there are just clips holding it together, possibly with some sort of adhesive or not. Like I said, no experience with iems but headphones are pretty easy to refinish.

I would just caution against trying to pull it apart without knowing and accidentally breaking the clips or worse, the driver.
