Had these almost a month now. Time flys. Only play time has been with them in my ears so still not enough time to have reached the recommended "burn-in" but whatever the case, still enjoying the hell out of the FD7. Just a thought ... I find that vocals and the mids in general open up when these start to put out some volume so not an iem that I would grab to do very quiet listening. They don't need to be played "loud" to sound good but they don't start sounding "right" (to my ears anyway) until you get a bit past "background" listening levels.

On the flip side, they do loud well. Very well. In fact, I think they like it. They keep it together and stay clean at output levels that would be considered unsafe and not conducive to long term auditory health.

You should wait and test with the stock cable.
They sound great.

I can confirm. On few minutes of listening, FD7 pair well with M17.
From my M15, I could ear the upgrade to M17, with FD7.

Just bought FD7 after trying out it out at Stereo. The new set sounds not as nice as the demo set. Looks burning in is required…

At least 150 hours.

Man I think I have been pilled really hard on single DD. Just went to the shop and tried the QDC and 64audio iems. For whatever reason. while they are all more detailed in the bass and treble esp with the QDC V14 having really nice treble detail, everything multi BA now has the mids sounding smooth and overly blury esp at the crossover frequencies. Its crazy how much consistancy I took for granted.

At the very lest I dont think I can see myself upgrading soon. Totally rec for how natural everything sounds even with the nice boosts to the upper mids to highlight string and woodwinds.

So, I’ve got my FD7’s and har a beauty!
Haven’t listened to them a lot -just for maybe 30 minutes. Are now burning them in, maybe 40 hours in and aiming for around 200 hours.

After maybe 100 hours I listened to this album. What a wonderful treat with M17 and FD7.
