I've got a Fiio e7 hooked up to my iMac and it's performing quite well as a dac for my Rotel amp.
On the go it's also a blast to use, but as a headphone amp it's somewhat lacking.
I know people here are raving about the the e7, but when using my favorite headphone (AKG K241) it can't deliver the power needed to drive this 600ohm beast.
Now i was wondering if an upgrade to the e9 would be a solution, or if it would be better to hook up a desktop dac/amp combination as the Beresford Caiman of TubeMagic D1?
