Hi,
 
I needed help with Fiio amps. I wanted to know which would be better among the two as I like soundstage,separation and less boomy sound. I have Fiio E11 which is too narrow sounding and boomy. So, with the advent of the E17k and E18 I wanted to know which would be better for me. Thank you.

DACs with solid state amps should sound way more similar than different, if different at all. You probably need to be looking at different headphones instead if you want that kind of change in sound.
