There seem to be a slight problem with the E17's headphone jack. The channels seems to become unbalanced when used with big adaptors and other plugs. I assume it's caused by the stress from oversized plugs?

Here's a picture I found on the internet, showing the insides of an E17. Maybe a different way to reinforce the jack can be used?

PS: The metal body on the E17 feels great, and I like how clean it sounds with my IEMs

Sorry for the late reply due to the long CNY holidays. the E17 in the photo is which we used some  glue to reinforce the headphone jack in case it is damaged by the outside force. we will change the headphone jack to new version which is

made by our very strict requirement.

Please contact the dealer to get warranty service or contact us via market@fiio.com.cn . and it will be great if you know how to replace it by yourself them we can send you some headphone jacks.

Good to know that the jacks are being changed. My E17 was from the 2nd batch pre-order, and it works fine with all except for my 4 inch long combination of adaptor+1/4inch plug. I don't think I'll send my E17 back since I have no problems with it, but I just wanted to post this so you guys are aware of the issue.

It's great hearing from you guys as always

I am having the same problem with the loose headphones jack, resulting in a lot of distortion and loss of the right channel. i also noticed that the inner clamping of the jack is very loose compared to the aux in jack eg. does anyone know how to fix this problem? Because i really enjoy the amp and would love to have it in peak condition again.
allready sent an email to market@fiio.com.cn but am still waiting for a reply

Just over a month ownership and I'm experiencing the same issue here. The aux jack is the weak link of this rather nice device. The best solution is to replace the crappy jack if one knows how to solder...

Sorry to bump this old thread, but could someone confirm whether the issue with these jacks is just that they come loose, or that they are susceptible to some kind of interior damage?

What I mean is, if I resolder my (now detached) jack properly, will it work normally again (currently no sound in right channel) or do I have to get Fiio to send me a new jack to replace the damaged one?

Thanks
