Anyone made a comparaison test on FIIO E17 Alpen   vs  V-Moda Vamp Verza.
Wich one is the best deal and best performer ? I listen to computer music up to 24/192
I own  Sennheiser HD598.

I know this is an old post but I just ordered a Vamp Verza and I have been using an E17 for over a year. If you're still interested I can do a comparison once I get it.

Quick comparison:

Verza - More sub bass extension, strong bass response, mids more forward, smooth treble, bigger sound stage, more analog and tube-like presentation.

E17 - Bass thump is good but lacks oomph, smaller sound stage, everything sounds clear but also more digital and lifeless compared to Verza.

Important note is that these differences are there but
they are very subtle. Took me a while to really appreciate the Verza's warmer, analog quality. Both are capable devices and I honestly don't think the Verza is worth its $600 MSRP(I got mine for half). I'm selling my E17 for cheap if anyone wants it. $40. PM me if interested.
