Whenever a sound is played through my Fiio E10K after a silence of literally any length of time, there's a noticable *fzzt* or "pop" sound. Whenever audio stops that noise happens again.
So, for example, I was mousing of the menu options of The Stanley Parable's in-game menu. The menu is silent except for a click-y sound when you mouse over an option. Every time I mouse over something I hear that *fzzt* followed by the intended sound followed by another *fzzt*.
Another example: Listen to YouTube videos where someone talks and then things go totally silent. There's the *fzzt* when things go silent.
Any time audio is continuous, I'm fine. But anytime audio goes completely silent, even for a split second, there's the *fzzt*. Not my cans; I tried it with my buds as well.
If you've got an E10K, mind trying it out? Is this just how this device works?
