Since FiiO’s Bluetooth DAC/Amp family was born, an increasing number of users are gradually recognizing the high-fidelity audio of Bluetooth. However, a problem has occurred as they used the devices more frequently. It became annoying because they have to go to the settings menu in FiiO Music every time and click repeatedly until they could finally go to the Bluetooth devices settings.

is there something in fiio control app that we need to configure in order to get full power on balanced output ? when i switch from SE 3.5mm to 2.5mm BAL, i don't experience a 3x gain in volume (240mw vs 80 mw) i get the same loudness on my 16 ohms iem on both output, so is there something i am missing ? i am high gain volume 15/60in both case so is there a parameter in the app or is there an automatic gain based on headphone impedance detection ?

Which device are you using? And the output power level could not be compared via just the loudness.

a macbook 2009 (usb 2.0) at normal listening level i am at 15/60 on 3.5mm SE, when i use the 2.5mm BAL i have to lower to 14/60 to get the same listening level as 3.5mm (i was expecting to have to lower to 1/3 as there is 3x more power something around 5/60, but maybe that is expected.
