Could you tell me how is your battery life via bluetooth? Which gain settings and unbalanced or balanced? Thanks!Hi @FiiO, I've had the BTR15 for about a week now and I'm enjoying the portability.
I use it connected to bluetooth to both my PC and iPhone 14 Pro. Music streaming over bluetooth works well. However the bluetooth sometimes disconnects during a phone call or, on my PC a teams call.
I am on firmware 2.2. Is this a known issue or do I have a faulty device?
Thanks

Single ended on high gain, connected to 2 devices via bluetooth. I've not run battery flat but I'd estimate 5-6 hours real world battery life listening at reasonable volume.Could you tell me how is your battery life via bluetooth? Which gain settings and unbalanced or balanced? Thanks!
Guys, I just found a solution to the bad BT range on the BTR15. I am 90% sure now that it was purely battery-related and was being caused because of low battery. I tried it with a full charge and I'm getting good frequencies moving about now, yay. Just letting everyone that is having this issue know.
Time to quit the hobbyI think i hear it few times but it is too quiet.
Wow, you have discovered that to work well, a battery operated device needs to have its batteries chargedGuys, I just found a solution to the bad BT range on the BTR15. I am 90% sure now that it was purely battery-related and was being caused because of low battery.
On a more serious note, crappy BT range is usually a consequence of poor design and wrong material choices.
Yeah I was worried I got a defective product at first. My tech wisdom is fading away with time. What can I do?Time to quit the hobby

I just updated today to the latest firmware version (2.2) and started having this issue myself. I didn't have this problem before updating. Now my BTR15 switches itself on whenever I plug it into the charger. Anybody having this issue on. V.2.2?Dear friend,

Dear friend,Ah. Anyway to turn them louder? I think i hear it few times but it is too quiet. I listen mostly on low gain under volume 20.
Thanks for your kind feedback. We will try to improve about that in later update.
Best regards

When I turn off the device and put it for charging, it automatically powers back on.

@FiiO
On the FiiO BTR15, it seems you can only set 3 custom EQ profiles which isn't very flexible. Is there any possibility that this could be increased in a future update? I have several IEMs and sometimes like using different EQ profiles with each of them.

Just got my BTR15 today and it's a nice device but I'm seeing a couple of issues.
I immediately updated the firmware to 2.2.
I'm using it in PC mode or Phone mode connected via the included USB-C cable to either my iPhone 15 Pro, or my MacBook Pro M3 16" to stream from Apple Music with Hi-Res Lossless enabled. I'm on the latest iOS (17.2.1) and macOS (14.2.1).
Then one issue with FiiO Control App on iOS, I haven't done much with it, but found a design issue:

- Streaming from my iPhone 15 Pro, the BTR15 display shows "PCM 192K" when I play a song that Apple Music says is 24-bit 192 kHz ALAC. Seems fine!
- Streaming the same song from Apple Music on my MacBook Pro over USB-C the BTR15 display says "PCM 44.1K". Doesn't seem right. Apple Music says it's doing 24-bit 192 kHz ALAC.
Then one issue with FiiO Control App on iOS, I haven't done much with it, but found a design issue:
- It has little ? info circles you can tap for help info about certain functions. When you tap them they show for 3 seconds, and then go away. This is a pretty odd design choice because several have more text than I think someone could reasonable read in 3 seconds.
