Hi, are you connecting to the balcanced input port of the speaker when using 2.5mm output of BTR3K?

Thanks for your swift reply!

Yes, I'm using the balanced inputs. My speakers are Edifier MR4 and to quote from their site:

With 6.35mm TRS balanced input jacks, MR4 Studio Monitor can connect to console, mixer and other professional equipment with the input sensibility of +4dBu …

Hope this helps.

Dear friend,

Hi, then you could try to check whether the connection defition of the cable is correct for all the ports? The cable may lead to the issue as well. If you have the balanced headphone, you could also check the balanced port of the BTR3K via the balanced headphone.

Best regards

With the three-position toggle switch, conveniently switch between the PC/BT/PHONE modes for the BTR13 to work as a computer sound card, Bluetooth decoder, and audio dongle, respectively. Not only does it eliminate the tedious setting of switching between different devices, but it also meets your needs for multiple scenarios in one tiny device.

There are 3 days left before the Bluetooth DAC and Headphone Amplifier BTR13 comes out. Let’s stay tuned!

looks like it might ditch the glass front? how is wireless reception on it then?
Also, will Fiio ever implement true Multi point connection?
my Sony bluetooth speakers just switch between sources whichever one have latest audio output playback, but with 2 of Fiio's bluetooth dongles, (BTR 3 and BTR 15 now) the sources are given set priorities over the other, like i have to stop outputting the audio out of my phone for any audio to start coming out of my tablet and that just feel kinda half assed.

Looks sweet, super light, built in clip and a nice big display. Mostly running iem’s with iPhone so should be all I need. When are they ready to order on AliExpress?

Already got the BTR15 but can make it my dedicated office DAC rather than using one for everything.

A new firmware update for BTR13! You can go to your FiiO Control app and get the latest firmware. Finally a multipoint Bluetooth.

BTR13 V12.4 firmware content:

1. Add a new option of pairing two devices simultaneously on the menu (PAIR2D);

2. Fixed the issue where there was no sound on phone calls when entering the power saving mode;

3. Fixed the issue where Bluetooth will be reconnected when unplugging headphones off the 4.4mm headphone output;

4. Fixed the issue of charging UI when charging in low battery;

5. Optimized the logic of Bluetooth reconnection when connecting to two devices simultaneously.

"The sound signature of the BTR13 is smooth and can be labeled as neutral-warm, which is a noticeable departure from the BTR15’s more dynamic, balanced, and detailed sound. "
