I've just received my BT11 and here's how it was for me.

Expectation:
Have LDAC coming out of iOS/Mac OS devices via BT11 and output to iFi Audio Go Pod.

Reality:

Connected the BT11 to an iPhone in order to get access to the FiiO Control app. Error for the 1st time, tried reconnection again, it went fine.
Tried to start the pairing process on BT11 and started it on the Go Pods. Go Pods entered pairing mode like always, and BT11 was blinking red/blue, but they weren't connecting to one another - Go Pods were not connected to anything, just in pairing mode.
After a couple of remove/insert of BT11, reset of BT11, unpair/repair to iPhone and then selecting the enter pairing mode again in FiiO Control app, eventually they paired and it's working fine so far.

Have tried to swap devices, remove BT11 from iPhone, insert into iPad/Macbook and it works fine, it reconnects automatically to Go Pods in LDAC mode and plays back fine.

Also, when it comes to the volume level here's what I noticed: on iPhone/iPad/Macbook (all of them behave the same it seems), you can start by maxing out the volume on Go Pods and then simply control the playback volume from the playback devices level - main volume of devices (iPhone/iPad/Macbook) becomes the actual volume of the headphones in this type of setup. So, max out volume on Go Pods, connect to BT11, and then control volume from playback device - simple as that - it works great.

Definitely recommend, but will need to do more extensive testing (haven't switched tracks yet to see if there's any crackling like others have reported), I did however experienced background noise/hissing on a track, need to test it again wired up to see if the recording is that bad.
Right now patience is a virtue and key to making it work. Even if it's not perfect right out of the box as expected, but if you are a little bit "relentless" and have minimum debugging capabilities, you can get it working in it's current firmware/software state.

Looking forward for the next firmware update, for stabilisation, compatibility improvement and a great out of the box experience.
Thank you for releasing such a product, a really long time expected one from my side!

I also want to note that there are occasional crackles in the soundtrack. When you switch to a new track, or just start a new album, there is a crackle, and it doesn't matter if the volume is high or low.
Tried it on different players and headphones...
If you start and immediately stop playing the track several times, the noise goes away. And so until the next time.

@FiiO Willson are there plans to read the battery levels of the connected headphones and report it back to the Fiio Control app? Right now there’s no way of knowing what’s the remaining battery on connected headphones.

@ FiiO Willson Someone on Reddit is asking when these will be available to buy in the EU (he is not happy with the price on AliExpress not that it will be less elsewhere IMO) and I am not sure what country he is from, can you give me some info to give him?
Thank you my friend!
This requires an order from the local agent. I checked and the agent in Spain just ordered the BT11 over and expects it to be on sale in 1 week's time.
And the Polish and German agents we've already shipped to, so I think it should be soon.
I Suggest they check with their local agents. :beerchug:

That's a good suggestion, I think maybe we'll add it later, you know it's not that technically difficult:beerchug:

I don't want to put too much pressure on the engineers at the moment, you know they have to deal with more difficult problems.

Hi Fiio Willson, will it be possible in the future to see the devices connected to BT11 on the control app? Thank you
Yes, we're working on adding this feature, it's our top priority! :beerchug:

I use it to connect my iPhone 15 Pro max to the Xiaomi ASM02A speaker. This speaker supports LDAC. I connect to it with the Walkman and the Mi 14 Ultra phone, the LDAC codec works great. However, when connecting using Fiio BT11 to the iPhone, there is an improvement in quality compared to connecting directly to the iPhone, but I'm not sure if it is connecting using LDAC because the indicator light is Blue (according to the manual, it is SBC). I think it would be great if the Fiio Control App updated the following 3 features:
1. Show Codec being played (this is what I like most about using Xiaomi phones is knowing exactly what Codec is being used).
2. Adjust speaker/headphone volume right in the app
3. Displays the name of the connected device (and if possible its battery capacity)

Dear friend,
Hi, for suggestion 1 and 2, we have recorded.
As for suggestion 3, the product manager mentioned that they are working on it in previous post. Hope it won't take a long time.
Best regards
