Hi Head-fi,

When my Monster Turbine Pro Coppers were killed by a friend, I turned to these forums to find my next pair: enter the Fidue A73.

While they were great sounding while they lasted (and horrible to use because the cable ties itself in knots regardless of how you store them), my mic button and one driver in my right 'phone has failed just months outside of the 1-year mark.

I have tried reaching out to Fidue via Facebook, and there is no email or phone number for US-based customers.

Is there any way to avoid becoming a "don't buy Chinese brands" horror story? I really liked the sound and build quality of these (garbage cable coating aside) and wanted to be a Fidue advocate, but it's getting difficult.

So all I'm getting from a weekend of silence is:

"Fidue's customer support really is nonexistent, and their products really don't last. Don't bother with their products".

Hoping we can officially seal the deal and give them officially a bad name; moral of the story:

Don't buy Fidue. Anything.
