Hi!
I'm currently on the verge of pulling the trigger on the X2. All of the reviews (especially Tyll & Baycode) I've read/watched seem to hold them in high regard.
The music I listen to is mainly heavy metal and EDM. A few examples:
Reso - War Machine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKwjkzMiAx0
Scar Symmetry - Neuromancers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SlL3Xt5ST4
Hecq - Bête Noire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YHBf1F_WRA
Leprous - The Valley: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14h8NVpBA4o
I should also mention that I own the V-Moda Crossfade M-100 and while it's really good for EDM in terms of sound quality I feel the bass is too overpowering for other genres and I also get some discomfort from the headband due to the inadequate (imo) padding. Same thing with the DT 770 Pro.
So, to X2 or not to X2?
