So, I just got a ferret for the first time, and I was curious if anyone else had one.

So far it has been really amazing for me.

i had one for years, she lived for like 12 years I believe.. I miss my ferret. She used to do the quirkiest things, like she had a bed with a little blanket, would tuck her self in, and squirm around the carpet and run around. man what a cool pet... get it one of those ferret hammocks they sell at petco.

I have a friend who has 8 ferrets...

She asked me to do a photo shoot of them.....

Illegal in Cali, as you must know, but I wouldn't mind having a ferret as a pet. A friend of mine used to keep her pet ferret in her closet since the apartments we live in don't allow pets.

Heh, they actually are illegal where I live... I had to drive out of state to get it.

I actually had the hammock before I even got him. Hehe, I was prepared to have a ferret waaaaay before I actually got him.

That tail fur standing on end is a sign that all hell's about to break loose. I used to have a ferret that looked just like that, and a regular one with the "mask". Watching them go nuts was sooo much fun. They are like 2 year old children on too much sugar.

personally I don't like them. they sleep a lot and their crap is pretty big/stinky to clean.
