I don't have any of those tubes any more so you can borrow them for a while. They are pretty solid as they are ceramic. Just pay postage!

I think I linked the wrong ones. As with lots of tubes there are many variations, round plate, oval mica, salt & vinegar, prawn cocktail....

Looks like these are the right ones but quite pricey!

Meant to have slamming bass but how is the detail/technicalities?

I should pick up a Grimm MU1 at the end of the month yet I am searching tubes....

I had Ken Rad VT-231 using them in other applications / amps. They were quite good with really nice bass.
I had the clear glass as well as smoked version and I am sorry I traded them for some other shiny objects years ago They were dirt cheap 15-20 years ago.
I don't need ANY MORE tubes!!!!!!!!!

BTW, that pair is OK but not great testing

Finally got my TS 6F8G. At last some driver tubes that compete in high with the mighty Elrogs .
Nice combo, however I noticed some noise in mid gain, don't know how would you call it, it sounds like it would be "ground noise", and is sensible to touch (either the base or the black cable) and is also volume variable but very peculiar, it goes up with the volume but close to max it starts to disappear. Because of the last I believe this could be some electromagnetic interference and seems I would need some ferrite chokes. In low gain the noise is heard very subtle only.

has anyone else experienced the same?

I had issues with those adapters from Deyan as well. They would pick up interference like an antenna. I didn't notice issues with the woo audio ones. The other adapter from him are great.

He's put the TMs on hold to work on the ERs and MOs I think.

He will make more I'm sure.

The TM will be run on a limited basis. Likely twice a year. And doing so results in delays.

He will stop TM runs if they don't sell out.

I would also venture to guess that Thomas needs to ramp up production of ER's to accommodate Lukasz's special order for those "custom" tubes. I bet Elrog start popping up in a lot of his devices (like his DACs) to replace this KR/RK's....

At the moment I am trying to decide on a tube amp for my Susvara. I settled on the ENLEUM 23 R as my favorite SS amp but now want to explore tubes for a more open, holographic sound stage.

How do you get it that cheap?

Performance Edition Envy is 8k
Elrog MO are ~2400

Even if you get the amp without tubes, it should cost more than 9k

regardless I recommend the Envy
