Speaking of resolution/detail retrieval, I changed from the WE300Bs to the ELROG TMs today, combined them with the Melz. This is top-notch resolution galore, combined with Immanis. Total wow-effect!!

...until you have enough of the technicalities and want back more of the musicality.
Or maybe you don't, that could also be possible.
To be fair, the TM's are insane, they're the best 300B tubes that exist, i just think that they don't pair that well with the Immanis.

TM & Immanis are fantastic together but driver pairing can make or break it.

Just followed the recommendation here and ordered a matched pair of Melz tubes from Amazon. I’m counting down the days until they arrive-by then, the WE300B should be here too. Can’t wait to dive into what promises to be a true sonic tsunami.

Be mindful that WE require a fairly lengthy break in period to be on point.

my sound seems to be getting better and better the more hours I put into it. Might has something to do with the break in period.

I think 500 might be a bit exaggerated but idk, honestly. And don’t worry, break in or not, they will sound nice from the first listen.

Yes, you need a very soulful driver tube to even it out but once you have the TM technicalities + soulful driver tube, I think you're done.

Yes this is true indeed.

They do improve quite a lot over time though. I'm not sure why this is the case.

Even my Grimm improved significantly after a good few hundred hours. I cannot explain that at all either but it wasn't subtle.

Maybe split the difference and say 300!
