It's kinda weird having to know sound signature is different and all that stuff. I mean, shouldn't HiSound stick to their house signature ? After all that's what made them the top of the line DAPs, if they are going to change it, it might affect their reputation

NOVA will have 2 models, There are N1 And N3.
 
The difference of them are:
1, the amplifier is different.
2, the sound signature is different, N1 is more featured with bass impact, N3 is more refine and feel more “hifi”.
3, the memory is different, N1’s memory is 4GB, N3 comes with 16gb.
4, The stocked earphone is different, N1 comes one pair of ear buds, but N3 comes with 3 pairs of earbuds.
5,the appearance processing effects are different, N1 is coated with the matting painting. N3 is polished anodizated finish.
6, the price is different. N1 is priced at USD 149, N3 is priced at USD 199.
 
Onl N1 is for pre order, N3 has no preoder plan.

i suppose the sound is more balanced and flat ?
but compared to the bigger models, how can the N3 N1 fare ? we do not want a drop in SQ, you should continue the legacy of legendary DAPs

I think it will be the final price. Do you keep to sell N3 after this preorder term? Do you have any plan to sell the other N3 set (like N3 only or N3+one earphone..)
Now,we do not know those 3 pairs of earphones in details. We can not determine whether we need them only by the selling price.
So at least we need to see pics of final N1,N3 and extra earphones as a refference. 
I have RoCoo P and earphone with it, but I only focus the new DAP,N1 or N3 in this time. I guess it will not only me who would pay for the DAP only.
Anyway, I reccomend to consider about your product set in near future.

It's a new developed chip by Hisound itselfv (should be customize) to instead of original STMP3770
 
For N3 model, they claim the N3 equip with 16G plus TF 64G the boot time only took 2.5 seconds!!!
 
It sounds very good at this point!
 
BTW, also mention that almost no hiss

That is GREAT! if TF has handresds of songs. :)
The current models takes nuch time for CMI initialize on every boot up.

Just asked my friend translate for me. The description show that Nova 1 don't have SD card support while Nova 3 have. Notice in the description did show +TF. Sigh..... previous said Nova got SD card... hmmmm.

the price for n1 is same, but for n3 they have much cheaper price in china is around 150 included 3 iem
