Nice indeed, but don't we all think the most familiar pieces are the ones from which it is best to do any comparation?

I always pop a new piece of rig with Mulholland Drive's soundtrack. Badalamenti's best work.

the offspring-come out swinging (especially 2nd verse)
linkin park-shadow of the day (bass is REALLY punchy)

Its a great CD I bought it not long ago and they even sent me a bonus disc with some other tunes on it. It's well worth a listen.

I just bought that disc today, hopefully it'll sound as good as they say!

yes, but it seems that all chesky recording, are in different league from other recording . i have a Rebbecca pidgeon recording from them and it sound remarkable comper with the other recording of her . and that recording is exceptional recording of jazz vokal

In general, when comparing stuff, I always listen to music that I know well. Music that I have listen to for many years - music that I know how it should sound. This is how I selected the UE 10 Pro's over the Shure SE530 - the many tracks that I tried both of them with sounded better and more natural with the UE's.

Massive Attack - "Angel"
Nils Lofgren - "Keith Don't Go"
Christel Alsos - "Come Back To Me"

..and other songs/tracks that I know well.
